3-Day Blinds
3-Day Blinds does not honor their lifetime warranty. Here is an illogical quote from 3-Day Blinds re my request for warranty service.
“You have a limited lifetime warranty on your blinds. The warranty is for the lifetime of (t)he blinds and not the lifetime of the consumer. Chipping, discoloration, warping and peeling of the paint is considered normal wear and tear.”
The warranty on my invoice specifically states that “There is no time limit to this warranty.”
There is no mention of lifetime of the blinds, which presumably ends when a defect occurrs.
Also, I was verbally told that chipping and peeling and cracking of paint was covered.

I had the same issue. Honeycomb shades are falling apart and I’m told that the warrant changed last year so I’m not covered. And in a separate email I’m told that the lifetime warranty only lasts for 5 years. But they can’t show me that anywhere in their warrant. What crack’s me up the most is how they sign their emails ” Integrity | One Team | Superior Client Experience | Excellence | Passion”
I don’t see any integrity, excellence or superior client experience.
Stay away from them. They don’t honor their warranty or their word.

Totally agree with regard to the company slogan It really means: Shady Integrity, a Confused Team that Fails in Customer Service resulting in anything but Excellence and a Passion to argue with the Customer

They need to change the name of this company from 3 day blinds to “whenever we feel like it” blinds. I have been waiting months to get my valances installed. When I call customer service, I am told they will check on it and call me back..which they never do. When I ask who else can I speak to, I am told no one and there is nothing they can do. When I ask for my money back, I am told they don’t discuss compensation until the order is complete. So, if the order is never complete, they never discuss a refund? Seriously!
I have used 3 day blinds in the past and always got good service. I am so disappointed. All I want is what I paid for.

I purchased a house with 3 day blinds, the string on the extremely big blinds broke and fell off. Since the house is only a few years old so are the blinds. According to customer service the warranty only covers the repair for original owner and not their product. However, they would be happy to repair for a big fee.

That sounds an awful lot like my “lifetime warranty” on a Jack Wolfskin backpack that was supposed to be repaired for free. I took it back to the camping store I got it at, and they said it meant the lifetime of the object which was clearly toast when I brought it. If I wanted to, I could call the manufacturer directly in Germany and send it (postage paid by me both ways). Um yeah, then it’s not lifetime warranty, and it’s like I’m taking it to a tailor’s. Never going back to that store.
