Real Time Furniture, Concord
Be Aware of this furniture store
I purchased a Entertainment Unit from them back in August.
waiting 2 weeks for my unit, I called the store and spoke to Christy, the store manager and she told me that she made a mistake on my order and that I had to pay an extra $700.00 on top of the $1000.00 that I paid them if I wanted my unit and that I had to wait another 2 or 3 weeks to pick it up.
I did not agree with that and she told me that since was her mistake, she would refund my money 100%.
She told me that I could come by the same day at 3pm to pick up my money.
Once I got to the store she told me that she did not have my money and that I would have to call the next day 1/2 hour before I came in to get my money from Chris, the owner.
I did not wanted to waste my time going back and forth so I asked them to mail me a cheque and she said that was fine.
I waited a few days for the cheque and called them again. They told me that the cheque was sent and deposited!!! I told her that was wrong, I did not received anything then she told me she got confused with a refund of the same amount to another customer.
That day she told me that she would make sure she would mail the cheque.
I have never received the cheque or a call from this guy Chris, the owner of the store.
I have been calling and went to the store a few times and Chris never takes my call and he is never in when I went there.
They made a mistake and I never got a call back or a reply to my emails, I never saw my money or a credit from the store!!!!! It’s been 4 months!!!!BE AWARE!!!DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!! “

I have a very bad experience with them as well. And they have now changed their name to EOS Modern. Do not buy anything from them! “A very large portion of our business comes from two sources: Repeat customers, and referrals by existing customers. It is incredibly important to us that you come back. We treat every SINGLE one of you like we expect you to come back for more. We are counting on it.
Shop online or visit our 16,000 sq ft showroom. Now you are at the right place.” ALL LIES!!!!!!

I ordered a couch in DECEMBER. It is now March and I still do not have the couch that I ordered. They delivered the wrong couch, I’m still waiting, and they have been paid in full.
Chris never takes calls!
SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO FRUSTRATED!!!!!!!!

REALTIME FURNITURE IS THE WORST STORE EVER!
DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! They didn’t show up for 3 scheduled delivery dates, and didn’t bother calling me to let me know. When I asked them why they didn’t show up or call me, they made excuses and even said that “maybe my phone was broken”! When the couch finally showed up, 2 weeks late, it was made wrong. They said they would replace the wrong cushion, and when that showed up, it was a different dyelot from the couch. The pillows weren’t square and they were sewn with thick white thread instead of matching the fabric. One pillow even had a staple in the fabric from the inside, which cut me! All I ever heard was excuses but never an apology. This has been going on for two months!!!!!!!! They don’t stand behind their product, the quality is terrible and the customer service is horrendous! Once they have your money, they don’t care about you.

I received a call today from the Minister of Consumer Services from a complaint I filed a few months back. They are on the hunt for the store owner…anyone who paid in full and did not receive they’re furniture (like me) should contact them asap!

Christy offered me a beautiful floor model coffee table for 20% off when I bought a few other pieces. Her loading guys pointed out the chipped glass base of the coffee table which was conveniently buried in the plush carpeting on the display floor. It was sharp as a razor. I walked back and told her about the damage and requested a refund, she said all she could offer me was a credit. I just effin bought it 5 mins earlier! I argued it and she went from angel to witch in 2 secs. Got my refund in end though. A-holes.
